  2. Wait...LAST demo update? Does this mean we're going to get the demo part rolled into the main / completed section of the game, or is this like...a literal LAST update?

I mean...either way I'm definitely looking forward to this and I have my fingers crossed for the pyramid section, but I'm hoping this isn't the absolute final update...unless you've literally completed the entire NG+ now. That would be pretty awesome.

    1. It is a 6 part game, this is just the final demo before part 3 is released

    2. Are They still doing six parts?

    3. As far as we're concerned it still is. "Last update" may be referring to the fact that they still need time to finalize the finishing touches for part 3 of MGQNG+, it is still currently unknown what parts of Sentora will all be in part 3. I'm guessing that it's the events that lead to the much-needed events needed to strengthen the relations between humans and monsters before a chance earlier Angel War begins, then the Angel War event will happen in part 4. Again though this is all completely hypothetical so I can be completely wrong, remember that. ^^; I just hope Laplace and Promestein become redeemable this time around, seriously, don't want them to suffer the same undeserved fates they got in part 3 of the normal MGQ story... :(

    4. Er...yeah, let's not go nuts here. Sure, you could argue that Promestein is a victim of circumstance and of Illias' harsh edicts, and there's certainly credit due for her bringing fire and all that...but let's not forget that it was her machinations that lost you the spirits in the third part, her ultimate goal was to drain your power (although that was pretty much everyone's goal at the end), and she created those horrendous abominations that the heavenly knights had to take down. Frankly, she was one who enabled Illias to get away with so much in the first place.

    5. Either everything is "redeemable" or nothing is. Regardless of circumstances, if one is forgiven, to deny another the same treatment would simply be tyranny. And to be completely honest I have a distaste for the principles, values, morals, and personalities of nearly all the characters to varying degrees. Of course by mentioning this I have made myself look like a narrow-minded fool as not nearly enough conclusive information about any character is presented to "label" them.

    6. Just because you're willing to offer forgiveness doesn't mean you should excuse the crimes committed, and I'd argue that there has to be some small part of the person in question that wants to be redeemed. Someone like Black Alice, for instance, neither seeks nor desires redemption and I find Promestein to be the same. Regardless of how she got where she is now, everything she does is towards the pursuit of knowledge while she herself is apathetic to whoever gets destroyed along the way.

    7. Black Alice was always cruel, not once did she show remorse or pity to those she fought against so it's beyond obvious that she's unredeemable. But never forget that you are literally shown how Promestein was before, she wasn't always cold-hearted, you can thank ILLIASS and her group for that. :/ Same goes for Laplace, although she was designed to follow orders without question she managed to modify the parameters set to her of "In case of no other option to save the Drain Lab, eliminate all traces." and although the parameters still remained, she managed to modify it with a five minute countdown, enough for Luka to escape via the ventilation shafts. I just feel those two share a similar fate like Vashtor from Record of Agarest War is all, and as such, imho anyways, they should be redeemable and atone for their wrongdoings just like Vashtor did. Sure, gonna recieve flames/hate but all i'm saying is honest facts. Yes, Promestein and Laplace commited many horrible atrocities, but so did Vashtor and yet he was redeemed in the end and fought for his former allies to attempt to atone for his countless atrocities after he was was spared in the Fifth Generation of Record of Agarest War, that's all i'm saying. Give them a chance.

    8. Orcone, about Promestein and Laplace... You read my mind. And I am sure that not only mine. Btw, it would be needed. try side-story Unwanted and you'll maybe see why.

    9. Yes, even if they become Side Stories it would be fine, that much i'm not afraid to admit for it being alright. But having the chance, or rather, to be more specific about it, having the choice to at least TRY to redeem them in MGQNG+ would be more than enough and even if it didn't work for either of them, then oh well, at least it was a good attempt. That's all i'm saying as I am sure that i'm not the only one who wants this wish to come true after all. :)

    10. You know, talking about Promestein and Laplace like this does make me wonder...are we still going to encounter her around Chroma's haunted house? That could be a very interesting confrontation, although I think the window of time where she was actually 'there' is now gone.

Granted, the game tends to take a liberal view of time considering Luka went around to all four regions on the main continent before actually going back and solving the problems there, and while I'm not criticizing NG+ for that, it does seem odd to be able to run around so freely while everyone complains about how they need to make the most of their time. Still, maybe it can be a bonus if you decide to take care of that problem early, although aside from securing Chroma as an ally in the angel-monster war, I can't really think of a reason he'd ever have to go there this time around...

    11. As an aside on the issue of the whole time thing, perhaps one of the things you can do that would make both narrative sense and give you greater control over the narrative would be to soft-lock the chosen region until all the problems are dealt with. Perhaps even have the last spirit you get determine which region you start 'fixing' first.

I, for one, would definitely want to deal with that village of carnivorous monsters as soon as possible, but it would make little to no sense if I could jump from the Succubus Village, to Port Natalia, and then back to the carnivore village.

Oh, and one last thing. I know the Queen Mermaid's venom isn't as bad as Lilith and Lilim, but why didn't Undine clue me in on the whole Refresh ability when I got poisoned THAT time?

    12. About that, ClanCrusher, Ecstasy have little continuity problem. According to recommended levels, Luka should visit Port Natalia and then Succubus Village. But when you talk with Sylph after dealing with queen mermaid, she mentions that she want to be succubus and cupid, which is strange because she wants to become succubus after encounter in aforementioned village. Refresh issues are only small problem.

    13. The "carnivore village" is actually "Lady's Village" and, of course, the main mastermind behind it is the rival from the previous Monster Lord choosing tournament held by Alipheese the XV (Alipheese the XVI's mother of course ^^; ) before, Cassandra.

  4. I am playing the demo for the part 3 have you guys experienced getting crashed during the conversation of Harpy(Ipiea) after the battle on Succubus Village or the part when Luka is about to battle with Queen Harpy on La Croix Lab?

    1. You need to apply the new demo files to the newest full download version. I had the same problem until I tried a different version and realized I wasn't even supposed to be there yet.
Question, did you try the other parts and see more things, or did you go straight for the lab like me? If there's more to see I'll have to grab my glitched copy again

    3. well except port natalia and the Chrome's House event which leads to La Croix lab, everything is a replay from the part 2 of MGQ which you will retain your stats from your NG+. I find it hilarious that i 1 hit kills Cassandra yet Alice have to helped after i kill her?

  5. Considering La Croix Lab shouldn't even be in the demo something is wrong with your demo.

  6. So...any hints as to what this is going to include?

    1. My guess is that it's the quests in the Noah region or Sabasa region, hopefully the latter makes it in. I want some Granberry love for Luka after all. :3 But knowing Granberia she won't take nothing less than absolute proof... and that little "Dragon Seal Trial" may be that certain "proof" Luka needs, as well as kept his "record" clean to have a possible "chance". heh heh ^^

    2. does he still have the one from last time? I don't think that was ever covered in any discussion of any sort.

    3. That's what i'm wondering as well, hopefully it'll be answered in the next update, I hope. ^^;
