Thanks for your patience people, it's been a while. Ecstasy's been busy with his, quote, "gay ass school". Next update probably will be out during this month. College is a nightmare, especially when you're trying to make mod as ambitious as this. Hopefully, you all can wait patiently for it. I believe in you.
In the next part of the mod, you'll be able to travel around port natalia, which comes with everything you'd expect. (Sexy mermaid marriage is not included in the package and must be achieved separately.)
As for slow updates, just believe, and bear with us.
Generally, the work on the mod is going well. I hope the final release will live up to your expectations. Thanks for your time, and stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteInteresting choice. I was wondering how Port Natalia would shake out since the Queen Mermaid there is about as willing to work with humans as Erubite on her worst day...minus the gruesome killings. Unlike the harpies though, Luka really only got them working together in the final act thanks to sheer dumb luck so I'm guessing this time is going to be quite a bit more complicated.
ReplyDeleteI've no doubt Luka is going to be pointing out the irony of how hard it's going to take to get the mermaids working with the humans during peace time when it was so easy during the time of the war. Utilizing Elle in this context is definitely a good move and has the potential to be pretty hilarious but I also get the feeling that the Kraken is going to misunderstand the situation and accidentally marry the two of them.
Looking forward to the next update.
Kraken marrying both of them instead of wedding them to each other... yeah I can totally see that happening considering that "listening to other people" and "not jumping to conclusions" aren't her strong points at all. As Luka would say, "How the hell did she become the queen!?"

I hope some of those aforementioned "people" are good artists since I think that MGQNG+ would appreciate a good artist to draw good H-scenes and such for those new scenarios when they begin, especially budding GranberiaXLuka moments and beyond... <3

DeleteAh, unfortunately, the only few artists I know who would be even remotely interested are either not very good at this style of artwork or not willing to draw NSFW content. Alas, I would definitely love to help in some way, but Betaing and writing is my only way and I think you guys have got all of that covered.

DeleteWhat part of the mod is taking the most time to put together, the writing or the scripting? Are you looking for any outside help at all or has the "Tenchi trying to perform a hostile takeover" thing ruined that?
ReplyDeleteProbably can't help much with the writing (the content is a bit outside my normal scope so I'm probably not very good at it), but I am a programmer. Looked through the mod and the NScripter reference at insani, the syntax isn't that complex so given a few days to familiarize myself with it I should have no problem lending a hand.
I'd be willing to help with spotting any typos and such, I sometimes notice some at times in MGQNG+ so i'll post images showing what it says in typos and say what it should sound like properly. :)
DeleteI could definitely help with writing. I have a nice amount of experience writing, mainly for the spirits, but I'm sure I could help with the rest as well. Hell, even if one line I wrote got in I would be happy. I'm also an experienced Beta for a number of stories so I could help with that too.
DeleteOn an unrelated note considering how much of this story is deepening the relationship between Luka and Granberia, does he still have the mark from the Sphinx or is he going to have to get that again?
ReplyDeleteThat's the same thing i'd like to know as well to see he still retains the Dragon Seal Trial mark from last time or not, I think I asked something similar before but never got answered I think. ^^; Since I know full well that even if she and him have feelings for one another he still has to have the mark from the Dragon Seal Trial from Sphinx to properly wed Granberia. :)

ReplyDeleteWhy didn't Luka think to take off his ring and use Flash Kill to break the Witch's barrier? I mean, that's what it's generally used for other than being fast.
It could still count as a magic or power attack which was blocked, his iron sword should pass through but would most likely kill her.

ReplyDeleteWell, I think Lucifina was the one who sent Luka back. Don't know why though, as it isn't like she was afraid that Luka would fail against Ilias. She said that he had the world he wanted, so she knew he would win.
DeleteYeah, I have the same theory since it is highly plausible imho, really. :) I'm guessing that she may have wanted him to remember that knowledge and this time in MGQ NG+ he could decide for himself whom he wanted to romance and not just by the single scenario that he went through with just Alice and himself, makes sense when you think about it.

DeleteI just recently found out about this and I've already completed the three parts. I loved every second of it. Can't wait for the full release of part 3. I won't ask for a release date or anything like that, but it would be nice to have a confirmation that the project is still doing ok.
