Happy new year, fellow deviants and perverts
Looks like February 28th is decided to be the approximate release date for Part 3. There'll be a fairly major patch for part 2 soon™ that'll rebalance the fights, add a little bit to them and add/improve some CG. But there will be no new content before a demo.
Now, to the pressing manners. Why did I use a screenshot of a Succubus Witch? Could it be I am hinting at something? Or maybe I am trying to get your hopes up just to dash them? Maybe the picture itself is a .rarjpg that leads to a secret clue hunt resulting in an early access to the part 3? Maybe I'm just kidding? Probably? Or maybe there is something to this, but I'm being super-sneaky about it?

ReplyDeleteI can't think anybody that will like Luka. And I didn't count Alice and other knights because you have to be in their "route" first in order to make them like Luka, duh.
You're forgetting the four bandits, that mermaid and the succubus mayor and witch. Plus I think Alice is starting to like Luka by now and that the other Heavenly Knights like him from their battles with him.

DeleteJudging based off of the fact that part 3 is going to posted in about 2 months, I would assume that the part 2 patch might be posted in about 2 weeks.
Eager to see the end of all of this! It'll definitely be a great way to help curb the need for MGQ for a while!

SO, I have a question. when salamander says that it is impossible for a spirit to love a human, is that your guys'es way of saying that there wont be "routes" for the spirits (which would suck, cause I just LOVE Salamander, and still after all these months regularly use that scene with her in luka's sleeping bag as.... research material) or is that just her trying to prevent luka from even thinking of pursuing a spirit because she is afraid of the power he would wield if a spirit did by some chance fall in love with him? or is there something else here I'm not seeing?

DeleteAH, I see, well, guess I'll just have to use the tried and true method of having a new save game located at every choice you make... that's always been kinda annoying, but for my dear salamander, it is totally worth it... might end up making a walk-through of it at some point...

DeleteWell, it's also extremely unlikely for someone like Tamamo to fall for Luka too, and she's a confirmed heroine! I'm really hoping the spirits are heroines. I think that they should each have their own power if they're pursued, like how the Knights will help in battle later on. Something like you can summon one in her absolute full power for something like five turns.
DeleteMaybe Slyph raises your evasion rate to 50% or something. Plus, she makes you hit twice as much with every skill.
Gnome prevents all damage and increases your physical damage attacks but 25%.
Undine lets you dodge every attack, every bind and every status ailment for ten turns, plus a small increase to damage.
Salamander, for five turns, lets you not have to use SP. For anything. I suppose it'd mainly be used to constantly use either Daystar or Ninefold Rakshasa, which turns Luka into even MORE of a glass cannon.
No other spirits can be called while you and your heroine are together, but after they're used, you can resummon the other spirits. However, that spirit is done for the rest of the fight, so you have to use it wisely. That way, you don't use it and then get bound or something and insta-KO-ed. I dunno. You guys probably have something for this already.
so, I forgot to ask earlier, but how many parts do y'all plan on having for this game if I might ask? (more the better as far as I'm concerned) or perhaps a better question would be, how long (in terms of hours of straight play without fap breaks) do you plan on having the NG+ be?
ReplyDeleteFor now at least, we can assume that it might be three parts, just like the original MGQ story, only these parts are pertaining to the MGQ NG+ variant of course, that's my current guess atm at least. :)
