We are still not dead

Work is still going. Fights are being made, variables being coded in, and relationship dialog being written. Fun fact : We might actually let you save at any time, not just in fixed spots.

Anyway, a lot of people seem to have trouble connecting to irc. First, you need a client. There is browser addons like Chatzilla, there are standalone clients, and there's mibbit.com. As soon as you have at least one installed, just enter irc://irc.inn.at.euirc.net/NG+ in your URL, and it should do the rest

  1. Might be a bit late to ask this, but is the succubus witch going to be a companion? She is the best monster in the game, and with all her CG, it'd be a waste. Also, how would I go about donating to you guys?

    1. No, she will not. Not in original release, at least. We are going to make the bare bones first, and add other characters later, by popular demand. Harpy and Kitsune are just to test the system.
I mean, you need to add good rep dialogue for each situation, neutral rep dialogue, bad rep dialogue, lover rep dialogue, conversation with other characters, sex scene, camps and ending scene. If we just start adding every popular monster, each part will take at least 6 months to produce.
Also, no donations for now. You are free to drop by and treat us with pizza and beer, but we are just not yet big/greedy enough to ask monetary donations for a free mod.

    2. You guys are taking this seriously! That I can see. I do hope you all are having fun while doing this. I did notice that I couldn't have many chats with Granberia while she was in my party, so it didn't feel like a huge accomplishment, unless she interacted in the scenes themselves. So yeah, that was pretty nice.

I expect that when you get done making the bare bones of all games it will already be pretty fun (especially with a few more scenes like Harpy Queen...though I do feel a missed oppertunity with the seven tailed fox...ah well). So if you start adding popular characters after that...will there be a section here where we can vote? Because I'll have to find a way to cheat then and insure Yao (yeah I know, I keep naming her) gets selected.

Write and code like the wind, guys! Like the wind!

    3. No, there is not going to be such a secton for exact reasons you specified. We are just going to write names of popular monsters on stick-it notes, put them all on the wall, drink a bottle of vodka and throw darts at notes. Ones they land at, we add.

  2. HAH! I do have to ask, what will qualify as popular? Will it be the monsters with plenty of CG's? I have to imagine that Sara would give a lot of material to work with (especially if you also have Granberia with you). The five top monsters are obviously already in there, so they don't add into the calculations. Crab Girl? She's one of the few monsters appearing not just once.

Ooh, Imp. That little low-level brat hanging out at the castle. She's got a lot of dialogue and scenes for a one-of monster. I imagine quite a few of the succubi might be popular...

So, any idea on just who might fall into the category of "Popular enough to consider"? Give us some names please.

    1. Yes, the CG's are certainly a big part of it. We don't have artists capable of perfectly replicating style of the original. We have a guy who changes facial expressions, giving us some breathing room, but it takes you only so far.
For now, let's just wait untill we are done with all the parts. We'll think about popular monsters later
