ReplyDeleteDecember 2nd is just for the early beta test, which is only like four fights and nothing else. Full part 2 (that is, after I had to split it up) is mid January.
Wait, is the beta only for people in the Irc thing?

How does one join the IRC channel? I'm a little new when it comes to IRC, and I've tried everything, but I can't seem to join. Can anyone give me a little help?

Wouldn't it be easier for you just to make a post when it's ready? This way you can explain how bug report whithout needing to post it a dozen times on the IRC (I'm guessing it's not that hard, but I'll still ask you anyway.) You can also get more people this way. Not everyone can stay up till two in the morning just for a chance to get a link from a guy who may or may not be there that night.

ReplyDeletewhat i did was download Chatzilla on Mozilla Firefox, then copy and pasted the irc (irc://irc.inn.at.euirc.net/NG+) on the firefox address bar, hit enter, and wait for a couple moment until you join in on the IRC chat.
DeleteI don't know if this has been fixed yet, but I choose to get Tamamo before doing the Harpies. Once there I choose the peaceful route and choose not to mate with the Queen because I'm interested in Tamamo. However in the camp scene after that when I talk to Tamamo, she acts as if I had sex with the Harpy Queen even though I didn't. Is this a bug or an oversight?
ReplyDeleteIt's a bug, and a really complicated one.
DeleteThe problem is how the game handles saving. It will only save the first 2000 or so variables. And then it uses the other variables to keep track of things like unlocks and stuff.
The good news is, most of the NG+ variables are actually inside this initial 2000, so they're working correctly. The bad news is, the ones that keep tracks of how many times you had sex with X character are not. So if you do something like, say, go get some royal bird pussy, reload, and then don't fuck the royal bird, it still thinks you fucked the royal bird..
Basically, a couple variables aren't resetting right when you load. And the best part is that I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to fix it. And all of the notes inside the script are in Japanese of course, so that doesn't help. Even if I set the variable to reset if you choose not to have sex with her, that decision wil end up carrying over into another save if you try and load a different one. Put them all in the initial 2000 variables, and it'll probably run out of space.
If none of that made any sense at all, just know that it's a really weird problem and that I'm trying to find a away around it.
I think I understand. Basically, the things I do in one save can carry over to another save. So this means not even starting a new game will help me? After I get all the scenes in this part, I'll uninstall the mod and avoid all sex scenes then, to set up the endings with the later knights.
DeleteYou could probably get around that by just coppying the blank game and installing the NG+ file in two different locations. So you have two different games. Yes, you can't load an older save file and start from there, but you can get different endings.
DeleteNever mind, it seems starting a new game does help, no need to uninstall. So, one just needs to start the game over each time they want to go exclusively for a specific girl. Given the skip function and the option to skip so many battles by taking peaceful routes, it isn't as bad as it could be.
DeleteThe problem is if you start a new game, certain variables will be overwritten. So if you fuck queen harpy, then start a new game, the variable does reset there (unlike if you choose not to). But if you go back to the other save, the game will still think you didn't fuck her.
DeleteSometime next week, I'll release another patch for part 1 that fixes the problem for now. And also combine the patch with the main download so new people aren't affected by it (because like 20% never even download the patch anyway, which kind of pisses me off).
Also, the values that determine your waifu games and waifu endings aren't affected by the bug. So those carry over okay.

ReplyDeleteI defeated and recruited Tamamo ASAP and then went for the bandits. In the following camp scene none of the party members were selectable. Is this a bug?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've had the same problem is Elisa above, with Tamamo and Harpy Queen sex thingy. I declined from pussy but Tamamo doesn't acts as if pussy was had.
Has this been solved, other than with the new game trick?
I tried starting a new game and got Tamamo, but altered my route a bit from the last time. Now I went straight to the Happiness Village instead of going for the bandits. Now I can talk to all the party members without any problems. Just letting you guys know.
